The Rokas Group is mainly engaged in the
energy sector and specifically in Renewable Energy Sources. In
addition, it continues its activity in the traditional sector
of electromechanical projects specializing in lifting
equipment and other complex steel structures.
The Company owns and operates a modern factory in Tripolis
(Southwest of Athens), which enables it to undertake highly
demanding projects, combining high level productivity with
experienced and specialized personnel.
The Company's successful presence in Greece and abroad as well
as its long-term cooperation with the most reliable European
firms (ΜΑΝ, Konecranes, Alstom, Siemens, ABB, Voith, etc.)
ensures its rapid development and has strengthened its
position in the Greek market.
In the sector of electromechanical projects, the Company is
highly specialized in the design, construction and
installation of lifting and handling equipment and it has
constructed a considerable number of projects for ports,
shipyards and other industries in Greece and abroad. Moreover,
thanks to its vertical production line, the Company has
undertaken complex projects, such as mining and industrial
equipment, complex steel buildings, as well as energy projects
such as wind farms, hydro plants and thermal power stations.
In the energy sector, the Company has constructed a number of
Wind Farms, either on behalf of the Public Power Corporation (PPC)
or for its own energy subsidiaries, being today the leading
Renewable Energy Sources producer in Greece. The Company
has installed today, through its subsidiaries, 15 wind farms of
200.3 MW total installed capacity, including a Photovoltaic
Park in Crete of 171.6 KW.
Rokas' production unit in Tripolis has a capacity of
approximately 10.000 tons annually, which has ensured a quite
stable workflow even during periods of economic recession.
Thanks to this, the Company does not depend exclusively on
large public works, but has major industrial clients in the
private sector as well. Indicatively, some of Rokas major
clients are the Public Power Corporation, Piraeus Port
Authority, Thessaloniki Port Authority, Hellenic Railways
Organization, Hellenic Aerospace Industry, Elefsis Shipyards,
Hellenic Shipyards, Hellenic Petroleum, Titan, Viohalco,
Halyvourgia Thessalias, Halyvourgiki, etc.
Also, the Company has successfully carried out activities
abroad, in countries such as India, China, Iraq, Saudi Arabia,
Jordan, Syria, Indonesia, Libya, UAE and more recently in
Malta, in the USA, in Kosovo etc.
